The company planning to bring a psychiatric hospital to Middleton apparently has issues of its own, according to a story from the Wisconsin State Journal.
Strategic Behavioral Health currently operates 10 regulated facilities around the country, including Willow Creek Behavioral Health in Green Bay. Although none of its properties have lost licenses due to the various citations, the company has been cited in nine immediate jeopardy citations, which are the highest level of reprimand, according to the article.
In Middleton, the regulated complex, to be named Miramont Behavioral Health, is proposed for 3169 Deming Way. Middleton’s City Council could approve the plan, which also includes a TIF request for $1.2 million, on April 17.
