Frank & Andrea, a restaurant that sells New York-style pizza slices and Philly cheesesteaks at the University of Minnesota, is coming to Madison, the Wisconsin State Journal reports. Construction is anticipated to begin by the end of the month, with the restaurant set to open at 435 N. Frances St. by the start of UW-Madison’s fall 2025 semester.
The restaurant will be housed in State Street’s Hub apartment building in the 3,400-square-foot former Kamps Fitness space. The new spot will be the second location for Frank & Andrea, a nearly 10-year-old business.
The restaurant will have sidewalk seating in front and have similar hours to its Minneapolis location, which is open Monday-Wednesday from 11 a.m.-2 a.m., Thursday-Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 a.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m.-midnight.
