The United Way of Dane County will kick off its 2022 community fundraising campaign with a public event at the Madison Mallards Duck Pond on Tuesday, Aug. 23, from 4–6 p.m. The event will feature family-friendly volunteer activities, a brief program, and a cookout. The lead sponsor is Alliant Energy with contributions by Exact Sciences, Group Health Cooperative–South Central Wisconsin, Herzing University, Springs Window Fashions, Madison Gas and Electric, and the Madison Mallards.
