United Way of Dane County announced the investment of $22,336,524 into the local community for programs supporting a variety of efforts, including healthy Black moms and babies, family-sustaining careers, and stable housing. Investment is directed by the work of the United Way’s Vision Council and Community Solutions Teams and includes 108 local programs and 52 local agencies. Local investments are as follows:
- Education (39 programs): $3,360,659;
- Income (38 programs): $2,863,590;
- Health (16 programs): $2,450,177;
- 2Gen (15 programs): $1,132,397;
- Engaging the community, mobilizing volunteers, and strengthening local nonprofits: $170,853;
- Donor designations: $3,952,324;
- United Way services to the community (including 211): $3,687,004;
- Distributions to umbrella federations: $1,126,686;
- United Way of Dane County operating budget: $3,553,334; and
- Fiscal Agent – Public Sector operating budget: $39,500.
