United Way is extending an invitation for a morning of networking and celebrating the caring power of women. The community will be coming together to learn more about how to support Dane County’s children in their education. Additionally, United Way will officially celebrate its eleventh recipient of the Women United Philanthropy Award, Diane Ballweg.
Registration ends at 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 8.
The event will take place Sept. 15 at The Edgewater Hotel, located at 1001 Wisconsin Place. Check in and networking begin at 8:30 a.m.; brunch and a program featuring United Way of Dane County President and CEO Renee Moe as well as Diane Ballweg begins at 9 a.m.
All tickets have a suggested donation of $125 – proceeds benefit Schools of Hope, which aims to improve academic achievement of kindergarten through fifth grade students through tutoring and individual support. Tickets can be selected and purchased by visiting this link.
