The annual United Way Bluegrass Benefit will return to the Barrymore Theatre for an afternoon of live, local music on Feb. 16. The show will feature bands of the Southern Wisconsin Bluegrass Music Association Inc. with support by WORT-89.9 FM, Isthmus, and Sugar Maple Music Festival.

The annual event began as a family-friendly activity to build community and has continued for over 24 years. Participating musical groups include:

  • The Grazers — 1 p.m.;

  • SpareTime Bluegrass —1:45 p.m.;

  • David Landau, The King of Kids Music — 2:30 p.m.;

  • They Talk TOO Much, with special guests — 3 p.m.;

  • Sorry Mountain — 3:45 p.m.; and

  • The Sandhill Strangers — 4:30 p.m.
