United Alloy will double the size of its factory in Janesville with a 112,500-sq.-ft. expansion that’s expected to add 40 new full-time jobs over the next three to five years, at an average wage of $15.77 an hour. United Alloy designs and produces steel diesel tanks and components for the power-generation market. In exchange for the jobs commitment, the Janesville City Council approved an incentive valued at nearly $900,000, which includes land and a low-interest loan. United Alloy has been in Janesville since 2003 and currently employs about 100 people. The project is expected to be completed in late September.
