Union Cab of Madison Cooperative, through its longstanding Democracy in Motion program, is offering free rides to and from polling stations in Dane County communities during Tuesday’s spring primary, the Wisconsin State Journal reported.
Both voters and poll workers can take toll-free rides to election sites in Madison, Fitchburg, Middleton, Shorewood and Maple Bluff.
The cab service will be available from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Those in need of a ride can call the company at 608-242-2000 on Election Day to and from their polling place.
