In a notice to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Union Cab has stated it is extending the temporary layoffs of 125 employees, the majority of whom are drivers.
The company suffered a 50% drop in business when schools were closed and an additional 25% drop when the safer-at-home order was put in place by Gov. Tony Evers. The company states the business has yet to rebound.
The new temporary layoffs have been extended until June 27.
