According to the latest report from the Department of Workforce Development (DWD), Wisconsin’s unemployment rate in May was 4.2%, the lowest level in 15 years.
Preliminary data shows Wisconsin adding a statistically significant 45,900 private sector jobs and 47,700 total non-farm jobs from May 2015 to May 2016.
According to Quarterly Census of Employment & Wages data, Wisconsin had the nation’s sixth-highest rate of growth in average weekly private sector wages from December 2014 to December 2015.
