The Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals (ULGMYP) on May 4 will host its second annual Health and Wellness Fair at Madison College’s Truax Campus, Madison365 reports. The event will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
The fair aims to provide community members with tools and resources to enhance their physical, mental and financial health. Organizers are looking to triple last year’s attendance, attracting 100 people to the event, which has space for 150.
Keynote speakers at the event will include Afra Smith, founder of the Melanin Project, and Myra McNair, founder of the Anesis Center for Marriage & Family Therapy. They will speak on financial health and mental health, respectively.
There will also be breakout sessions, health screenings and additional speakers. Tickets are available here.
