Madison-based Ubicept has been named one of two winners of the 2025 TitletownTech Startup Draft, receiving a $1 million investment and $350,000 in Microsoft cloud credits to support business growth and development, according to Insight on Business, IB Madison’s sister publication.

Ubicept, which also has a presence in Cambridge, Massachusetts, specializes in advanced imaging technology that enables camera-based perception in all lighting conditions. The company’s innovation is aimed at applications across robotics, mobility and security, leveraging conventional and next-generation image sensor data.

The Startup Draft, hosted by TitletownTech — a venture partnership between the Green Bay Packers and Microsoft — drew nearly 1,000 applicants nationwide. Seven finalists participated in the livestreamed event, where the dual winners were announced. Ubicept shares the top spot with Ateios Systems, an Indiana-based battery technology company.

The initiative is part of TitletownTech’s ongoing efforts to promote high-growth startups and strengthen innovation in the Midwest.
