U.S. and Chinese leaders are set for a meeting on Thursday in South Korea amid U.S. tariffs and limited Chinese exports such as rare metals, the Associated Press reports.

According to the report, China will stop precursor chemicals for fentanyl from coming to the U.S., and Beijing would purchase U.S. soybeans and other crops again. A major move would see China relinquish export controls on rare metals, used for manufacturing computer chips.

Exports for rare earth materials were recently limited, and President Donald Trump responded with the threat of additional tariffs on Chinese goods.
