Tyranena Brewing Co. has won approval in Lake Mills for a taproom and beer garden in the city’s downtown at 203 N. Main Street, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. The $1 million downtown project, set to begin as early as March 2022, is expected to be funded in part by a $275,000 grant from the city and a $250,000 grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. The project is scheduled to be completed in fall 2022. The brewery’s 12,000-square-foot production facility, tasting room, and beer garden that was opened in 1999 on Lake Mills’ east side will remain open.
