A state ranking of top high schools by Niche named Madison Country Day School and Middleton High School on the list of the best in Wisconsin. Schools were considered on factors including diversity, teachers, and college preparation. Madison Country Day School ranked fifth with a 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio and Middleton ranked ninth with a 16:1 student-to-teacher ratio.
