Tufco Technologies, a Green Bay-based wipes manufacturing and printing company, reported a net income of $647,000 in the fiscal third quarter, or 15 cents a share, compared with a loss of $67,000, or 2 cents per share, in the same quarter of 2011, according to a report in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The company said the increase is due to increased sales volume and lower operational costs at plants in Green Bay and North Carolina. Revenue increased to $28.5 million, a 1.9% increase over the $28 million posted in the same quarter of last year.
