The replacement of the Blatnik Bridge that connects Superior and Duluth may have hit a roadblock with President Donald Trump’s administration possibly blocking more than a billion dollars in federal funding for the project, Wisconsin Public Radio reported.
The funding was approved as part of the Infrastructure Act under former President Joe Biden.
The current bridge cannot be used after 2030.
