Madison’s Tenant Resource Center (TRC) recently increased its number of bilingual employees, aiming to help tenants whose first language is not English navigate their rights, according to WMTV15.
The TRC has expanded its bilingual services to Sun Prairie’s Sunshine Place and in the past year has focused on hiring more people who can speak English and Spanish. Bilingual employees currently make up 30% of the company’s workforce.
The TRC recently moved to Winnebago Street. The new space offers an area for tenants to attend virtual eviction court hearings as well as private offices for meetings between tenants and staff.
