Town of Campbell receives funding for water system upgrade

The western Wisconsin town of Campbell will receive about $40 million in funding to upgrade its municipal water system, Wisconsin Public Radio reports.

The town has been drinking bottled water for over five years due to PFAS contamination.

The grant will come from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The town will receive an $8.5 million grant and a $30.8 million low-interest loan.
