Wisconsin Secretary of Health-designee Andrea Palm will help oversee the nation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic as part of President-elect Joe Biden’s team, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.
Gov. Tony Evers announced Andrea Palm will become deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, making her Biden’s number two health official. From 2014 to 2017, Palm served as senior counselor to the secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under former President Barack Obama.
