As the city continues to expand affordable rental housing, three proposals are being considered, according to The Capital Times.

Stone House Development has proposed Fair Oaks Apartments, located at 134 S. Fair Oaks Ave. that would include 91 total units with 68 affordable units; Madison GrandFamily has been proposed by Gorman & Co. but does not yet have a location. It would include 50 units for seniors over 55 years of age; and MSP Real Estate is proposing Normandy Square at 6509 Normandy Lane that would have 75 units with 49 approved for affordable housing.

Affordable housing targets households earning not more than 60% of the Dane County median income.
