The Thirsty Goat restaurant and brew pub will open Monday at the former site of Casa del Sol at 3040 Cahill Main in Fitchburg.
The restaurant, with 30 TVs, will feature a menu including homemade smoked food — ribs, chicken, fish — and steaks and burgers from chef Jeffrey Whitford, formerly of Claddagh Irish Pub. The bar will include locally produced beers.
A year from now, The Thirsty Goat hopes to be brewing its own beer as Fitchburg’s newest brew pub.
