East Towne Mall owner CBL Properties together with FLIX Entertainment have proposed an eight-theater complex, a 134-seat restaurant, and an outdoor patio, according to The Capital Times.
In other markets, FLIX Entertainment venues include a FLIX brew house where craft beer is brewed in house and available to patrons dining and/or catching a first-run movie. The Urban Design Commission must first hear the proposal.
The 39,150-square-foot entertainment complex could be built where Steinhafels is currently located at the mall. Reportedly, Steinhafels is looking to move to the former American TV & Appliance building on High Crossing Boulevard. If all the dominoes fall, FLIX could open in 2018.
