The Road Home Dane County, which supports families experiencing homelessness, is hosting its annual Families Moving Forward event, which honors the resilience and achievements of the families supported by the organization.
The event highlights the mission to equip families for success. In partnership with The United Way of Dane County, Hansen Home Team, and SwimWest Swim School, The Road Home Dane County will provide backpacks filled with school supplies for children from elementary school to high school.
Community members who want to support this initiative are invited to visit the 2025 Amazon Wish List and make a donation by Friday, Aug. 2.
