The Nationwide franchise The Learning Experience announced it is opening three new, independently owned locations across Madison over the next two years, adding to the location currently open and operating in Sun Prairie.
The childcare franchise’s first of three locations will be opening in Fitchburg in the fall of next year. Two more locations are planned in Middleton and Verona, respectively, and expected to open in the spring of 2025.
Each location will consist of a newly built 10,000-square-foot center and up to a 5,000-square-foot outdoor playground. Each center will employ around 30 local staff members and certified teachers to serve upwards of 180 children, from six weeks old to six years old. Offerings will include childcare, enrichment programs, and early childhood education.
Childcare and early childhood education centers are necessary to keep pace with Madison’s growing population and create options for young families. According to a Wells Fargo report released last year, 22% of those in America’s workforce ages 25–54 have a child younger than six years old.
Currently, The Learning Experience has more than 350 locations operating nationwide. Ranked No. 43 out of the world’s top 500 franchises by Entrepreneur magazine, the Florida-based franchise plans to open more than 100 new locations in growing markets across the country over the next two years.
