The Hound announced it has closed its doors after 11-and-a-half years in business.
Once known as the Flying Hound, located at 6317 McKee Road in Fitchburg, the restaurant closed on Sunday, with the Wisconsin State Journal reporting it as a “demand problem” and drinking trends moving away from alcohol.
Owner Tim Thompson owns the Library Cafe and Bar, Bear & Bottle and Middleton’s Free House Pub. Thompson also owns a restaurant in Belize.
