The Big Share, an online day of giving that supports the more than 80 nonprofits of Community Shares of Wisconsin, is going on now until March 3.
The goal is to raise $1 million this year, and the public can donate online.
“Now in its 12th year, the Big Share is a great opportunity for the community to take bold action and support causes such as civil liberties, sustainability, LGBTQ+ rights, voting rights, healthy food and farms, criminal justice reform, affordable housing and diversity, equity, and inclusion,” Cheri Dubiel, executive director of Community Shares of Wisconsin, which runs the Big Share, said in a statement.
Donors can search for nonprofits by name or by cause.
Community Shares of Wisconsin welcomed 16 additional member nonprofits in 2026, so donors can now choose from 82 nonprofits to support.
The event will end with a live telethon on March 3.
