On June 15 and 16, The Big Gay Market (TBGM) will host its Pride Market at the Alliant Energy Center, featuring goods from over 200 queer and LGBTQ+ ally vendors, according to Madison365.
Owners Ashley Shaw Adams and Ollie DiPietro have approached the preparation differently for this event, which is expected to draw at least 10,000 attendees, compared to previous ones held at the Wisconsin Rugby Complex in Cottage Grove that historically drew crowds of 1,200 attendees.
The Big Gay Pride Market will feature local drag queens, a lobby table with Dana Pellebon, and resource tables hosted by TRAC Madison, OutReach, GSAFE, and others. Local LGBTQ sports groups, like the Madison Gay Hockey Association and The Minotaurs rugby team, will have tables for attendees to sign up. A full schedule of events will be available later this week on TBGM’s website. There is no entry fee for visitors.
