Greenleaf village residents pushed back against a proposed data center project by a Texas-based developer, and the project is no longer moving forward, Wisconsin Public Radio reports.

Greenleaf is located in Brown County about 25 minutes south of Green Bay, and residents there had reported receiving purchase offers for their property ranging from $50,000 to $120,000 per acre from Bear Creek DevCo LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.

According to WPR, the address for the LLC matches Houston-based Cloverleaf Infrastructure, which was involved with a data center project in Port Washington.
