The Memorial Union Terrace is set to close up shop on Oct. 27. The annual outdoor entertainment and dining space is run by nonprofit Wisconsin Union, which helps enhance student leadership and community engagement.

The Terrace opened for the season on April 18 offering free concerts, free film showings, dining and more. About one million people visit the Terrace each year, according to a statement from Wisconsin Union.

“The Terrace is a place where people connect, relax and celebrate,” Wisconsin Union deputy director Susan Dibbell said in a statement. “We hope community members and visitors will join us during the remaining days of the 2025 Terrace season and continue to enjoy all the Wisconsin Union has to offer year-round.”

Some of those year-round offerings include dining options like Strada and Peet’s Coffee, and the Winter Carnival.
