Tennessee company acquires area psychiatric hospital

Summit BHC, a provider of behavioral health and addiction treatment services based in Franklin, Tennessee, has acquired seven psychiatric hospitals from Strategic Behavioral Health, including Miramont Behavioral Health in Middleton, according to a company statement. The acquisition includes:  

  • Miramont Behavioral Health in Middleton, Wisconsin;   
  • Willow Creek Behavioral Health in Green Bay, Wisconsin;  
  • Eagle View Behavioral Health in Bettendorf, Iowa;  
  • Peak Behavioral Health in Santa Teresa, New Mexico;  
  • Carolina Dunes Behavioral Health near Wilmington, North Carolina;  
  • Creekside Behavioral Health in Kingsport, Tennessee; and  
  • Palms Behavioral Health in Harlingen, Texas.  

The hospitals have a total of 613 inpatient psychiatric beds serving children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and they operate several outpatient programs serving adults and adolescents. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
