Tech Summit registration still open through Thursday evening

Registration is still open for the 12th annual Wisconsin Tech Summit, which will take place March 17 in person at Milwaukee’s American Family Field.

Derek Hyde, vice president of information technology for the National League club, will speak before lunch on innovation throughout the ballpark and the farm system, from parking to the fan experience to analytics. The conference will also offer networking opportunities, which include breakfast, lunch, and a closing reception in the X-Golf simulator at the ballpark.

Sixteen major firms will be taking pre-scheduled meetings with entrepreneurs. Representatives from emerging companies are pre-scheduled for the chance to meet with some of the major firms in short meetings in Club Level suites. The goal for companies of all sizes is to investigate possible strategic partnerships. 

An “Office Hours” series of small-group discussions at which entrepreneurs can discuss specific issues with experts and their peers will include:

  • AI in action: Practical approaches for small businesses to boost revenue;

  • The road to MVP traction: Building a strong “minimum viable product” and navigating a market; 

  • Fueling innovation in Wisconsin: Programs designed to help early-stage businesses succeed; 

  • Tariffs, trade, and technology: What Wisconsin companies should know;

  • Building your brand: Effective marketing and LinkedIn strategies for startup business growth, and; 

  • Investor expectations and founder realities: Essential tips for startup success.

Event attendees will include entrepreneurs, founders, major firm representatives, service providers, students, higher education, investors, and more. Online registration is open through Thursday, March 13, at 5 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome but pre-registration is highly recommended. The event will be held at American Family Field’s Club Level.
