The area’s largest tech companies, Epic Systems Corp. in Verona and Madison’s Exact Sciences Corp., have become partners in the IT world, according to a story in the Wisconsin State Journal.
Exact Sciences will use Epic software from order entry to patient care, and the agreement will reportedly give Exact Sciences a competitive edge as prescriptions for Cologuard, its at-home test for colon cancer, increase worldwide.
