M3 clients were warned that a recent ransomware event affecting organizations throughout Wisconsin could affect them, according to a statement from the company. The company was made aware of an incident over the weekend of June 26–27 that involved a Milwaukee-based IT firm and has subsequently affected some of M3’s clients. Clients have been warned to be alert for any suspicious activity and file a claim to ensure that coverage is afforded as this incident continues to unfold.
