Tech Council, WisPolitics to host panel on tariffs’ statewide economic effects

WisPolitics and the Wisconsin Technology Council on Tuesday, Sept. 16 will host a luncheon and panel discussion on the effects of President Donald Trump’s tariffs on the Wisconsin economy.

Panelists will include:

  • Menzie Chinn, an economics professor in UW-Madison’s La Follette School of Public Affairs who studies macroeconomic issues and policies; 

  • Veteran farm broadcaster Pam Jahnke, director at the Midwest Farm Report Network;

  • Buckley Brinkman, executive director and CEO of the Wisconsin Center for Manufacturing & Productivity; and 

  • Roberta Oldenburg, director of business development for science and technology construction at J.H. Findorff & Son Inc.
