After expanding its customer base by 7%, Madison-based TDS Telecommunications has surpassed $1 billion in operating revenue in 2021, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The company, which employs 1,086 people in Madison and nearly 2,700 people nationally, is a subsidiary of Telephone and Data Systems. Its goal is to provide broadband to 2.2 million addresses in the next five years.
