TDS Broadband Service, operated by TDS Telecommunications Corp. in Madison, will purchase Utah-based InterLinx Communications as well as InterLinx’s subsidiary Tonaquint Networks. The agreement includes over 170 miles of fiber optic transport.
All Utah employees will be encouraged to remain with the company. Terms will not be disclosed and the acquisition still needs to be approved by regulators.
