TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS), a high-speed internet, TV and voice services provider, is partnering with Milwaukee-based Digital Bridge to support environmentally responsible e-waste recycling and help expand access to technology for underserved communities.
Through this collaboration, TDS will donate retired technology from its operations across the country to Digital Bridge, which securely sanitizes, refurbishes and redistributes computers and devices at no cost to TDS or the recipients. The refurbished equipment is provided to individuals, schools and nonprofit organizations in need.
For TDS, the partnership will provide a secure, sustainable solution for managing retired technology assets, and for Digital Bridge, the expanded volume of donated equipment will support its mission to connect more people with the tools they need.
The TDS-Digital Bridge partnership launches this spring with device donations from multiple TDS locations and will continue to evolve with opportunities for employee engagement, volunteerism and community outreach.
