TDS Telecom, a subsidiary of Telephone and Data Systems Inc., has announced the completion of its acquisition of BendBroadband of Bend, Ore., effective Sept. 1. BendBroadband is a cable and broadband company that TDS acquired for $261 million. It has about 300 employees and has been serving central Oregon for more than 50 years.
