The IRS is having some issues getting refund checks to taxpayers, CNBC reported.
Over 830,000 notices were sent out to notify people of delays in paper check payments, according to House Ways and Means Committee Democrats.
If people receive such a notice — called a CP53E notice — they must provide banking details via an IRS online account within 30 days. Otherwise, they may wait an additional six weeks for a paper payment.
