Woody & Anne’s, a tavern at 2236 Winnebago St., will soon have a new owner, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The owners of Star Liquor on Williamson Street and the Ideal Bar on Atwood Avenue are purchasing the tavern. The new owners — Josh Swentzel, Troy Armbruster, and Michael Randall — do not plan on changing the name. The accepted deal of $400,000 is expected to be finalized in August once city approvals and financing are secured.
