Businesses are now able to submit a tariff refund through a new system launched Monday, the Associated Press reported.
In February, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled President Donald Trump’s tariffs were enacted without any constitutional authority.
Importers and brokers will be able to claim refunds at the Consolidated Administration and Processing of Entries portal.
Refunds are expected to open to more people, even possibly consumers. Refunds could take 60-90 days to be issued, and refunds will be processed in phases.
