The Textile Arts Center of Madison (TAC), a community hub for fiber art, announced an upcoming reopening celebration at its new location at 1702 S. Park St. The events, free and open to the public, will include:

  • An opening reception for the exhibition “Statement Pieces: Quilts with Something to Say” on Sept. 5 from 5-8 p.m.; and

  • An Open House & Community Day on Sept. 7 from 1-4 p.m.

Opened in 2023, TAC offers an array of fiber art programming including classes, exhibitions of contemporary fiber art, community programs and access to secondhand supplies.

This summer, TAC’s move to a new space doubled its previous size and programming potential. It will reopen for its full array of public programming in September.
