Suzanna’s Kitchen recalls over 60,000 pounds of mislabeled chicken

Southern brand Suzanna’s Kitchen recalled about 63,000 pounds of chicken nationwide due to mislabeling it allergen-free when it contained soy, Parade reports.

No illnesses have been reported, but the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service is urging people to use caution with the following products:

  • 8-piece cut, bone-in breaded chicken portions: Produced on Oct. 16, 2025, and packaged in 18-pound cases containing four units of “Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Portions.”

  • Case Code: P-1380 126237 B30851 23:11 K04 (printed on the side of the case)

  • USDA Mark of inspection: Printed on the case label with establishment number P-1380 printed on the side.
