Survey: Without stimulus, more lodging providers will close

According to a new nationwide survey  from The American Hotel & Lodging Association, 74% of hotels would be forced to lay off additional employees and 67% would not make it another six months if Congress fails to pass another COVID stimulus bill.

Of Wisconsin’s 1,201 hotels, 588 estimated they would experience forced foreclosure without congressional help, and 805 reported they would most likely close without government action.
