The Board of Commissioners of Public Land approved $3.4 million in financing to support the expansion of the 25-year-old Sun Prairie Public Library, according to WMTV15.

The facility plans to add new spaces for remote workers, a makerspace with specialized STEM and art equipment, and an outdoor amphitheater. Officials broke ground in June, and the expansion project is anticipated to be complete by March 2026.
