Sun Prairie police responded to a laundromat on the 900 block of West Main Street on Sunday around 6 p.m. after a patron reported they had to stab a person to defend themselves, according to WMTV15.
An investigation found that a Sun Prairie resident attacked the patron at the laundromat following a dispute over use of the laundry machines. The patron resisted the suspect by stabbing them with a knife, after which the suspect was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
The suspect faces charges for disorderly conduct and battery.
