A Sun Prairie business owner has been indicted by a grand jury on federal tax charges, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report.
Charged with 17 counts of failing to account for and pay federal income taxes withheld and Social Security and Medicare taxes due for Alpha Electric LLC, Joseph Kott, 42, will face a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison on each count.
The indictments allege Kott failed to pay the IRS a total of $377,855 in payroll taxes.
