Minneapolis-based Sun Country Airlines is launching 18 new nonstop routes, including one from Dane County Regional Airport and five from Milwaukee’s Mitchell International Airport, according to a release from the company. Sun Country will fly direct from Madison to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Thursdays and Sundays beginning on Dec. 16, 2021. Sun Country will also add nonstop flights from Mitchell to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, Cancun International Airport, McCarran International Airport, Southwest Florida International Airport, and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
