Sun Country adds nonstop service between MKE, 2 Caribbean destinations

Sun Country Airlines announced in a recent press release plans to add nonstop international service between Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and two Caribbean destinations. The seasonal flights will operate during the peak winter and spring break periods beginning in December.

Nonstop flights will be offered between MKE and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, from Dec. 26, 2024–April 7, 2025. Roundtrip flights will initially operate twice per week and will increase to four times per week beginning Jan. 23, 2025.

Nonstop service between MKE and Montego Bay, Jamaica, begins January 25, 2025 and will operate twice per week through April 5, 2025.

Other highlights from Sun Country’s winter 2024–25 MKE schedule include:

  • An expansion of seasonal flights to Cancun, Mexico, including daily service for the upcoming winter and spring break travel period;

  • Nonstop service from MKE to Fort Myers, Orlando, and Phoenix on peak travel days; and

  • Nonstop flights from MKE to Las Vegas and Minneapolis–St. Paul this summer.
